Way to Weave!
Whether you are starting from scratch with a young dog or looking to fill some “holes” in your weave pole training, this class will take your weaves to the next level!
For the young, untrained dog: Using a variation of the 2x2 method, we will shape weaves from the very beginning to give your dog a solid understanding of his job. The focus is on building value for the poles and creating an independent weave pole performance.
For more experienced dogs: Based on your individual team’s needs, we will work on your dog’s ability to find the entrance, improve speed and forward focus, increase distance and/or add distractions.
We may work on related exercises to improve those skills. You will be given a worksheet to track your progress.
For pups/dogs 10 months and up
Prerequisite: Pup/dog should be able to work off lead
